CompanyPMI is a trading style of ComparePMI Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16755241). Our registered office is 30 Tylney Road, Sheffield, S2 2RY.
CompanyPMI is a corporate insurance introduction service. We introduce businesses to authorised and FCA-regulated insurance providers. The policies themselves are arranged and administered by those FCA-regulated providers. ComparePMI Limited is not itself FCA authorised or regulated.
ComparePMI Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller. ICO registration number: ZC004255.

We do not collect any special category data (such as health information) through this website. If we need such information as part of arranging your insurance, we will explain why and obtain your explicit consent at that stage.

- Our close working partners: who assist in the delivery of our broking services, subject to appropriate data processing agreements
- Regulatory bodies: including the FCA, HMRC, and law enforcement where we are legally required to do so
- Technology providers: including our website hosting and email service providers, who process data only on our instructions
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data for third-party marketing purposes.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
- Quote enquiries that do not proceed: up to 12 months
- Active client records: for the duration of the relationship plus 6 years after it ends, in line with FCA guidance and limitation periods for legal claims
- Website analytics data: up to 26 months
After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure: to ask us to delete your data, where we have no legitimate reason to continue holding it

- Right to withdraw consent: at any time, where consent is our legal basis — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
